Arthur Bell, Certified Public Accountants, recently named two new members, Alex Cummings and Kenneth M. Eyler, who will join the other firm members in establishing strategy and direction for the firm.

Alex Cummings has been with the firm since 1998. He is the Tax Member responsible for the firm’s Fund Tax Group which provides tax planning, tax return preparation, research, and other consulting services for investment vehicles in the alternative investment industry. Alex is a Tax Committee member of the Managed Funds Association, and he frequently writes industry articles, presents on hedge fund tax issues at seminars for Financial Research Associates, LLC and the firm’s Alternative Investment Industry Update, and teaches at the Center for Professional Education, Inc's Advanced Tax Issues for Hedge Funds course. Alex graduated from the University of Baltimore with a B.S. in accounting.
Ken Eyler joined Arthur Bell in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer responsible for the financial and operational oversight of the firm, and now he is also Member-in-Charge of the firm’s Family Office Services. He has spent more than 20 years in accounting, consulting and executive leadership roles, including working with and advising on the unique needs of high-net-worth families. Ken is a member of the Managed Funds Association and serves as Vice President of the Baltimore chapter of the Association for Accounting Administration. Ken received his B.S. in Accounting with honors from the University of Baltimore and his MBA in Management from Loyola College in Maryland where he achieved membership in Beta Gamma Sigma and was elected to the Jesuit Honor Society Alpha Sigma Nu. Ken is a licensed CPA in Maryland and is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
