With over twenty years of experience in accounting and financial analysis, Bob joined the firm in February 2009 and was promoted to Director in charge of Family Office Services in January 2011. Bob is committed to client service and client confidentiality. He also strives for satisfaction and continuous development of his team.
Since joining Arthur Bell, Bob has served as a relationship manager for client banking and insurance brokerage needs, managed certain operational activities of client entities, provided review and feedback to attorneys on various drafted legal and trust documents, and coordinated entity transitional activities, from incorporation through dissolution, for numerous forms of corporate structure. Bob has also focused on providing services related to physical precious metals holdings and has been involved with numerous purchase, sales, and physical transfers. He has developed extensive industry contacts, researched testing methods, reviewed risk management reports, and conducted physical audits of client holdings in a number of depositories in the U.S. and Canada.
Bob has worked at major international insurance and financial services companies. His experience includes managing a large financial institution’s capital markets accounting function, reviewing private equity transactions, closing down a hedge fund, and successfully transitioning activities to another finance center in accordance with its worldwide finance transformation effort. In addition to helping with the integration of a company’s asset management operations worldwide, he was an International Analyst performing financial and human resource related duties for an organization’s overseas offices including expatriate package design and administration, foreign currency funding of operations, accounting for deferred and stock-based compensation plans, and establishment of pension plans in multiple international locations. In addition to receiving a B.S. in Accounting from Towson University, Bob obtained his CPA and graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University with an MBA concentrating in International Business.
In his spare time, Bob enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with his children and chocolate Labrador. He also collects miniature toy soldiers.
