
Nancy has advised closely-held businesses, their owners and high net worth individuals for over twenty-five years. Clients and colleagues rely on Nancy for tax and business advice because of her strong technical, managerial and mentoring skills.
Prior to joining Arthur Bell in 2010, Nancy worked for international, national and local accounting firms. She has been responsible for the tax compliance and planning for privately-owned companies, their owners and high net worth individuals, including related entities and trusts. She served as key tax support for individual, partnership and S-corporation planning and tax research, including investment and family limited partnerships. She has also represented clients in federal and state tax audit matters through the appeals level.
Nancy has been a Career Advisor and mentor for tax managers and staff. She has also led in-house training sessions on various tax planning and compliance issues.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and she volunteers for the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Services (MVLS) handling tax case work pro bono. She has also volunteered for the MVLS tax clinics and the Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore.
Nancy graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in Accounting. She is a licensed CPA in Maryland.
