Arthur F. Bell, Jr., CPA

Arthur F. Bell, Jr., CPA , is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and has been the Managing Member of Arthur F. Bell, Jr. & Associates, L.L.C. since 1974. He is licensed in Maryland and New York. Mr. Bell has spent much of his career involved in the commodities and hedge fund industry as a regulatory, tax, audit and business advisor.

Arthur F. Bell, Jr. is a frequent speaker at worldwide conferences sponsored by leading industry associations and trade groups, most recently meeting with fellow members of the Managed Funds Association Board of Directors, the Federal Reserve Chairman and the Treasury Secretary to discuss hedge fund activity in the financial markets. 

Arthur F. Bell, Jr. currently serves on the Managed Funds Association (MFA) Board of Directors. He was a Director and Treasurer of the MFA and a member of its Executive Committee from 1994 through 1997, and was re-elected in October 2001.  Arthur was a member of the Government Relations Committee of the MFA for 8 years through October 2001 and was a member of the CFTC's Global Markets Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Futures Industry Association Editorial Advisory Board, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pension Research Accounting Group (PRAG) based in London, the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) also based in London, and is on numerous industry committees and working groups.
